In 2018, the children will travel by Virgin Australia and Murray’s Coaches for the duration of the trip and will stay in hotel style accommodation with all meals (except dinner on day 5) and entry fees included.
Payment is made through the excursion levy of the school fees. Permission and medical forms along with packing list and additional information will be sent out during Term 2.
Travel or additional insurances are optional for parents to purchase. Medication will be collected before leaving along with pocket money (not to exceed $60). Emergency contact phone numbers will be provided to parents and students prior to departure.
Day 1 - Fly to Sydney; (Depart Coolangatta).
Sydney Scenic Tour, drive to Canberra, visit Australian War Memorial
Day 2 - National Capital Exhibition Centre, Government House, National Museum, Electoral Education Centre, Questacon, Musuem of Australian Democracy, CSIRO Discovery, Capitol Theatre Manuka
Day 3 - Indoor Rock Climbing,Sievx Memorial, National Gallery, Government House, National Film & Sound Archives, National Museum, Australian Institute of Sport
Day 4 - Parliament House, CSIRO Discovery, National Film & Sound Archives, Sievx Memorial, National Gallery, Indoor Rock Climbing, Museum of Australian Democracy, Questacon, Capitol Theatre Manuka
Day 5 - Australian Institute of Sport. Depart Canberra mid-morning. Sydney City Sights Tour. Dinner then depart for Sydney Airport and home.
