Australian Curriculum

​All learning at Marymount Primary School occurs through a Catholic perspective and emphasis is placed on the value of the whole child. The foundation of the Curriculum at Marymount Primary School is interwoven with the Australian Curriculum Verstion 9.0, The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA), Brisbane Catholic Education Policies and current educational research.

  • Humanities ​and Social Science (comprising History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship and Economics and Business)
  • The Arts (comprising Dance, Drama, Media Arts, Music and Visual Arts)

  • Health and Physical Education
  • Technologies (comprising Digital Technologies and Design and Technologies).​

Learning is most effective when Student Voice is an integral pillar in each child's education journey and we encourage and foster a culture of high student involvement in all stages of the learning process. We provide multiple and varied opportunities for learners to progress through challenging and engaging learning experiences with multiple entry points, catering for the needs of a range of diverse learners through differentiated practice.​
