Technology

Technology at Marymount empowers students to become creative thinkers, problem-solvers, and confident users of digital tools. Aligned with the P–6 Australian Curriculum v9, our Technologies program integrates both Digital Technologies and Design and Technologies, providing students with hands-on, engaging learning experiences that connect to the real world.

Students explore computational thinking through coding, robotics, and digital creation, while also learning to design, plan, and evaluate solutions to practical challenges. Using age-appropriate technologies, children develop skills in creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking as they move from simple concepts to more complex digital and design projects.

Through a supportive and engaging learning environment, students are encouraged to explore new ideas, think innovatively, and apply technology with purpose. Our program supports children to develop confidence, resilience, and responsible digital habits, equipping them with skills that support learning now and into the future.
